Hello Mongolian Camels!

Depending on where one travels in Mongolia there are many camels to be seen. They are used as a tourist attraction, for their warm wool, as food, transport and much more. Sometimes they freely roam the desert, sometimes they’re tied together close to the yurts.
The camels on the above photo belonged to a lovely nomad family close to the flaming cliffs of Bayan Zag.

  1. This lovely picture really evokes a feeling of vastness and tranquility. Makes me wish to sit there and just “communicate’ with those content looking guys. BOF

  2. Love the photo, Viv! And that wilderness you can enjoy. Wonderful!
